finally got round to doing some work on the car today.

engine bay is virtually finished (not with the supercharger yet though, want to get it running in this shell first before complicating things)

Just need some copper washers to refit the fuel filter and finish the heatshield and refit that.

Fitted the turbo brake servo today, need a longer hose as its about 2 inches too short, but im sure ill have something somewhere for that.

Not much but it means im closer

front tein springs/adjustable GAB shocks fitted - calipers have been removed and cleaned ready for the colour change, need to order new disks and pads as these ones are low.

teins make it very low, obviously not driven it yet so may settle a little more (and the back isnt done yet so make pull the front bumper up a few mm) but it looks nice and low now

no worries, just need to find out if i can get some longer topmount studs for the rear shocks so i can raise the TRD brace up to clear the engine

rear suspension done and fitted with longer studs to allow for some spacers to be made up to raise the TRD brace to clear the engine,

the plan is to use 2 sets of the plates that are on the car and have them welded to make up a solid space to allow the brace to be raised and still provide a solid mount to anchor everything down.

pics of the car now the rears have been dropped and the trial fiting of the rear brace - once the supercharger has been fitted the gold engine detail wont be there, it loked great in the blue car but not so good in the white one sadly, the supercharger is dark grey and the TRD brace will be painted orange (along with the calipers)

cheers for that but its not a simple as spacing it out as the top set will be angled down towards the front of the car slightly as im still using the 2 pick up points for the x parts, hence needing them to be welded (at the correct angle)

another small update,

stereo wiring is now all in, as is the wiring for the extra gauges

oil pressure
water temp
fuel pressure
wideband Air fuel ratio

and i have tinted the rear qtrs/rear window (looks a bit darker than i thought it would)

and have painted the calipers, trying to get orange by mixing red and yellow, didnt come out the shade i wanted (to match the JDM front lights)

will make a decision on whether to repaint or not at some point

window tints:

calipers from this

to this

this was another shade i did (the one that got fitted in the end is the one on the floor as the one fitted in this picture was too red in real life)
