yeah you where right checked it with an adjustable spanner. though the front one seems to be 18mm. Is this normal or am I just measuring it in the wrong place (didn't really want to take the undertray off)

I want to order bushes and don't want to get the wrong sizes!

right! Had a bit of progress with my search. I know I need 19mm on rear.
Seems that the front ARB is the confusing one.

on turbo rev 3 it seems that the front toyota bush is something like 18.4mm

but the rev 3 N/A part number: 48815-17120 Front ant-roll bar bush 17.5mm

So knowing this do I go for 18mm bush for the front or 17mm as poly bush don't seem to offer half mm sizes?

I have a rev3 turbo.

I had all my bushes replaced at sbits last year. Pete brought a 19mm bush for the front arb as usual but when he measured it, he found it was a 18mm roll bar so got a different bush, the strange thing is everything was standard and obviously been there since the car was manfactured.

My car is an early rev3 turbo, 1533rd off the line to be exact. I also seem to have an aerial down the fornt of my screen which i'm sure i heard wasn't on rev3s.

Maybe there was some kind of update but if there was i'm sure somebody on here would know about it and would have said so?

Can you find out what number car yours is?

Mines a n/a rev3 but it does have a aerial down the windscreen! Think I'm just gonna try 18mm on the front and hope it's a good fit! Not much in 0.5 of a mm

When SBits sold bush kits through twosrus.co.uk he had a chart detailing what revisions were likely to have what ARBs but as you have found out the easiest way is to read it off the bush.

IIRC it's different for imports and UK cars of the same revision as well.

All the aerial down the screen means is that your car had the souped up sound system when it was built.
