[Mk2] [Turbo] Which turbo???

Now here's a question!!

My ct26 is on it's way out so fancy being creative and looking at other options.

Not looking for huge power turbos ( car is stock internally and my daily drive) but fancy something different.

So what do you lot think would be good? Cheaper the better would be nice!!

Fit a ct20b from the rev 3 onwards cars. The boost will come in a bit later but will pull longer through the gears.

The rev 3 turbo is a fairly straight forward fit, details are all over this site. Any shaft play in one you look at means it needs a rebuild. Probably all of the turbo cars are over 60k miles by now and the turbos will have been fitted new from the factory, most owners may have tried boost mods which increase the wear rates.

At the end of the day you could just find another ct26 as they are very driveable from low revs and wear out less due to the limited high rpm power they make.
