MR2 Valuation

Having spent mearly a year rebuilding my Mk1 I now need to Insure it at a value above Market. My Insurer has asked for a valuation from a dealer. What have you all done in this situation ?. Valued it at Market value, about £750 or found someone who can give it a value. Is there anyone in Southern England that knows enough about these cars to give it a value.

My local Toyota Dealer refuses to valur the car.

Mk1 club can probably help you but first check exactly what is/is not acceptable as proof from your insurer.
If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.
