MR2 TURBO

Post by vinnyl »

any pictures you require just ask and car is based in south west london

Car is Mot till September 2011 and taxed till March 2011

I have owned the car and cherished it for the last three years and only used it at the weekend s as have a second car for work but due to baby due and a change of location its no longer suitable for me to keep it due to been a two seater and because i had secure parking spaces for my two cars but when i move i will only have one space.

Whatever the car needed it got and was always the best i.e. fully synthetic oil etc etc.

First of all i will give the bad points so there is no illusions and hopefully no timewasters tyre kickers or people that know everything about everything.

I decided to sell it 6 months ago but couldnt bring myself round to it due to all i had put into the car and the memories it held for me but after i washed it last week it wouldnt boost and warning light came on the dash so took it to the garage this morning to get checked out and found out the following it seems inside the turbo the little flap that the actuator opens and closes i.e it closes to build up the pressure and then open s to release the pressure thus creating boost is stuck on open so turbo has to come off stripped and problem resolved or else replacement turbo but there is absolutely no smoke from the car or oil showing in the turbo indicating all seals in the turbo are intact the warning light come and goes and its or are either to do with this or i had the alternator replaced three months ago and there is a loose wire somewhere but the alternator is charging fully and from a quick check all wires from it are tight

The car was resprayed at a cost of 1500 two years ago but it is showing marks now the one s on the side are from where i caught it on a galvanised gate as during the snow last year i used to store it in a barn its possible it will tcut but thats up to the buyer to decide the paint on the toms scoops has cracked and they will def need a respray but 50/60 pounds should cover that the other main bodywork fault as showing in the pics is the engine bay lid is well cracked.

T-BAR

Full immaculate bucket seats as shown in the picture with seatbelt harness and toyota pads.

custom built speaker boxes behind both seats that include 500w pioneer speakers and 100w jvc amp

I also have a road angel fitted for speed camera s etc.

Air con is working but needs to be regassed.

Have a folder of reciepts and mot reports for the last few years showing everything that was spent in the car which runs in to well over £5000

How much is it advertised for elsewhere, or are you only asking for offers from the IMOC members incase you can get more for it here?
