[Mk2] [Generic] MR2 Tubby Specialist near Birmingham? Clutch seems to be shot :(

Post by alan-2-turbo »

Hi guys,

I'm having a few issues with the 2.

Firstly i run a blitz sbc boost controller. When the car boosts as i go from negative into boost, the led display screen on the sbc disappears and my cd player cuts out? then comes back on when i back off the accelerator.

It feels like its running half the power.

Secondly the clutch is slipping under load at high revs, anywhere recommended to get these problems looked at?

Cheers Al :|

Cheers fella only 40 miles away, so maybe possible before the clutch implodes.

Now anyone know of a decent clutch going? Road use for maybe 1bar of boost tops?

Cheers again.

for that kind of power standard clutch kit will do you just fine....

for that sort of boost mate, as said the standard clutch can cope with that easily.
