I have some nice new15" wheels to go on my Mk1a. I am thinking of getting rid of the original wheels threepenny bit ones as I call them due to space and the high value of scrap ally at the moment. Is this a good move or have you all kept yours. They seem to have no value on the MR2 market.

I recently upgraded to mk3 15 inch alloys and weighed in my original alloys and a set of aftermarket 15 inch ones (so 8 alloys in total) and got £65 not bad! If your original alloys are not in mint condition id say weigh them in and spend the money you get on the car. Much better than having them around doing nothing!
