The TOM'S T020 is back out again... plus Anita's got a new whip!

Post by CardHore »

S'appenin freekz!?

So since JAE last year the money pit T020 went in for hibernation (well not really, I just left it on my parent's drive) and it suffered being covered in 2ft of Snow through winter, hard rain and over the months it became a living ground for mould and totally took over the interior, im talking major fluffy.

In the last month I acquired a new contracted job role for the MET Police which is better money than my poxy office job I had... Hence the misses and I got shot of our brilliant 306...

....then I decided to give the ol' girl a visit, charge up her juice, chuck in some motion lotion and get her started up. I couldnt stand to see it get festered by mould any more, so I insured it, taxed it there and then and detailed it a few days later (Thurs just before the Essex meet).

So that car is now looking GrOoVy as... as... a groover? However prior to that Anita was looking for an Altezza with the money she sold her MR2 for but was originally meant to be kept and the pug to be used but that idea sorta drifted as I was moving into my new job role....

We both loved the 300ZX TT I had in red and so the decision was made as soon I reminded her of it, so sure enough we picked up this old skool beauty a few weeks back. A 1990 Fairlady N/A Import Auto, it drives unlike any other car and is pure pleasure to sit and drive in. It features a Blitz induction kit, Autostrada Modena wheels and a fully decatted exhaust system with a Mongoose cat-back system, quad exit and it sounds like a spitfire on full chat. She loves it, and I get the pleasure of driving it too and in return she's lucky enough to drive my T020 when she wants a proper toy to handle

Its not mint but I think for a 21 year old car in this nick and a grand under budget she hasn't done badly!

So thats the gossip between us for the start of 2011, no doubt this year will bring many changes in cars and more TOM'S parts that ill come across for my T020, I am lucky enough to have just become an owner of a TOM'S carbon air intake and a mint TOM'S steering wheel I won off ebay (3rd one lol)

Ciao and ill see you all at most upcoming events!

Very nice...and quite an improvement over the 306! :thumleft:

I've always liked how the ZX's looked but damn, the T020 just blows it away! =P~
