I have recently bought some rare Rays Alloys and had them professionally refurbished at a cost in excess of
£700 although they are probably worth significantly more now.Fronts:
8J X 17 with new Toyo Proxes 215/40/17 tyres.
Rears:
9J X 17 with 245/40/17 Bridgestone Potenza tyres 5mm.
10mm spacers all round with longer studs in all 4 hubs.
New right angled valves x4.
Tuner wheelnuts with lockers.
These wheels are stunning.
When all the new parts were fitted it was taken to Ryan@2BarTuning for a full remap.
The first run saw 187 B.H.P. the timing was adjusted and a few runs later it gave 319 B.H.P. but the clutch was now slipping. A SPEC Stage 3 Clutch Kit was imported from U.S.A. and fitted by Luke@Pacific Works Total £550.It then went back to Ryan and gave a conservative 325 B.H.P.
but even Ryan was surprised that it produced 320FT/Lbs Torque.Dyno Graphs:

- these were taken before the spacers were fitted so it has a slightly more agressive stance - i will update the pics a.s.a.p.Car is now 16 years old so don't expect it to be perfect, there are a couple of blemishes and one or two water marks which would come out with a machine polish but i am happy with it as it is.
