I recently changed my oil on my K reg G-Limted and was sold 10 40w but it now sounds tapety when cold but ok when warm. Should I have maybe used 15 40w?

10w40 semi synth like Castrol Magnatec is fine in my books. 15W40 is what I've put in very old VW's, not jap engines. You've just opened a pandoras box on oil choices LoL.

thats my bad not the best on the old laptop i will try to fill this in was using that oil in a mr2 turbo mk2 since decided to change engine tho.
