Just need to get some paint to touch up the car and respray a few little bits, where's the best place to hold of some that will be matched to the paint code?

cheers... J.

I've just ordered from http://www.autopaintsbrighton.co.uk . I've heard good things about paints4u but wasn't taken with their website at all the other day so bookmarked these folk and called them yesterday to order a can for mine on a "trial".

...Very impressed so far although iI haven't got the stuff yet. The fact that I speak to someone other than a trained amoeba on the phone these days is good, and they did next day delivery is all good (I'll have to pick up from the courier depot tomorrow). Problem I have is everyone up my way will only supply water based for a good few years now. I resorted to spraying a new fuel filler cap for my Aristo with it last weekend -and it's absolutely **it, you would be as well mixing your own poster paints from the craft store.

Just remember -they'll match to your colour code but not to your paint. You need to get some paint chips or an analyser for a match.

If it helps. I stumbled on the best rattle can I've found for about 15 years of trying the other weekend. It's U-Pol clear cote in a brown goldy can. No orange peeling whatsoever, goes on like glass -and stays that way unlke evry other rattle can I've tried!!!

...Looks like you don't need to order base coat for yours though so you won't need a lacquer.
