MR2 Rev 3 GT-S Turbo (1994)

Post by tommy-c »

I have owned this car for almost 3 years now and the time has come to move on onto something else. The car has been very well looked after since in my possesion, the previous owner brought the car over from japan himself as he spoke the language, I have some service history from japan but can't make it out lol, the car has been in the country since 2006. I use this car as a 2nd car and its used only on weekends in the summer (has never seen salted roads). I service it myself with regular oil changes (every 3,000miles) using a genuine Toyota oil filter along with Fuchs Silkolene Pro-S 5w40 oil. Since i took possesion, i have replaced the radiator (due to leak), thermostat and replaced the coolant using Toyota 4life coolant. The distributor cap, rotor arm and fuel filter were replaced last year and spark plugs have been changed. I have also changed the front droplinks when i first bought the car. I've never had an issue/breakdown with the car and everything runs as it should. Its always warmed up and cooled down properly with every use and mainly run on the low boost setting on the ebc, the engine pulls very well running approx 300bhp however not been tested. Has always been run on V-Power, also never been tracked / run down the strip. The handbrake cables were also replaced recently (common fault).

225-45-16 Marangoni Zeta Linea rear
Tyres have covered very little mileage, no curbing on wheels.

Exterior
Border front bumper
Toms sideskirts

Clear front lenses

I installed the aero kit / most of the aftermarket parts myself and the wheels have recently been refurbished with no curbing. The wheel colour might not be to everybody's taste but im a big fan of the japanese car scene so have gone for that 'look'

Reason for sale is partly that i dont get to use the car very much and partly due to the time has come to move onto something else.

12 months MOT, 1 month tax.

Has all the usual turbo spec, PAS, A/C etc.

As with any car, there is going to be some negative points.
The front bumper is very low and therefore has suffered some grounding resulting in a few stress cracks on the bottom most points. Personally this doesnt bother me as its only noticeable close up and it is likely to happen again as the car does sit very low to the ground.
The carbon fibre bonnet has a few blemishes in it.

Car is located in west somerset, viewings welcome evenings and weekends.

Im looking for £4250 ono, will consider part ex for a cheap diesel car

PM or phone 07854908823

Thanks :D
