Coolant Hoses for Rev2 Turbo

We're looking at these for the race car:

Samco 8 Piece coolant hose kit:

OR these:
E-Bay "Generic" 7 piece coolant hose kit:

So the question is, how can one set have 8 hose and one have only 7? And how can one be rev 1-2 specific and one cover all revs 1-3?

Has anyone on here bought a coolant hose kit? The Samco one is pretty pricey (esp as we'll later be needing an ancillary hose it AND a turbo hose kit AND (maybe) an intercooler hose kit)...

I cannot answer the questions but speak to Pacific Works (IMOC affiliate), they do a full custom hose kits..
