fitted new p/s pump but still have a few issues

Post by JDM-MAT »

Hi guys first things first happy new year to you all, right my problem I have just fitted my new pump and my p\s is still heavy when stationary. When I pick up speed I can feel the p\s kick in. Now I have a aftermarket steering wheel fitted and have read somewhere this can cause a problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Mathew.

Apologies- it was a knee jerk response once I recovered from the epileptic fit it induced

Sorry- can't help with your steering issues, hope you get it sorted :thumleft:

This is starting to get up my nose now =(

How do I tell if my rack is broken?
 all I want is a working system.

if it works after walking pace i doubt its the rack. Put the standard steering wheel back on properly if you still have it. I bet its the aftermarket boss

I don't have one. I bought the car with the aftermarket wheel fitted and all the problems. I'm running out of funds now. I'm going to have a good look at the boss tomorrow and see how that looks.
