Brake Warning Light Coming On Under Acceleration

As I accelerate, I've noticed that the brake warning light appears a lot.
Checked fluid level, and its fine. There are no problems under braking, no spongeyness etc, so I'am a bit baffled that it comes on....any ideas ?

i've had the same problem if i accelerate hard up steep hills

your brake pads might be low, hence the level of brake fluid is lower hence sudden movements can uncover the level sensor in the fluid pot = light on dash. Check you brake fluid level, if it's low check your brake pads as they might be low. Remember, if you top up the fluid on worn pads, when you change the pads you will need to watch the level doesn't overflow

It had new pads on before I bought it, the guy done a full service. Its only happened since I changed a caliper which was sticking. Maybe there is some air trapped or it has developed a faulty sensor?

if you bled the system changing the caliper then you're likely a little short on fluid. If however as you say you've checked the fluid and it's ok then have a look at the handbrake, it also puts the light on during its operation so maybe there's something loose in there?

The handbrake put's the 'p' light on, i think the OP was referring to the exclamation mark light? that's the one that i've had coming up anyway

had this come up again today, high revs in 2nd gear on a slight uphill incline. anyone got any ideas?

on double checking the fluid level, it was sitting just above MIN level, so now topped it up and all is fine
