Girlfriend is driving the Rev1 Coupe still. Granted the other week it was under a foot of snow and didnt go very far. Its now running Rev2 alloys which probably helps a bit. Only problems have been: 1. Do not wash the engine bonnet/cover (never had this before), but it was so cold some water most have got on the electrics and it refused to start. After removing plus and drying them off it started after coughing a bit. 2. Handbreak is hit and miss. 3. Odd random whinning sounds on start-up. 3. Locks/Doors freezing... Apart from that its fine! ;) . Not sure if its because she doesnt know much about cars (in the sense that when the ar$e starts coming round when it shouldnt be doing she just says "uh thats strange" and giggles. But she takes it slow and doesnt let it bother her.

My '2 hasn't moved for weeks, its not a winter weather car. Funny how we can make do with just 1 car in the winter but in the summer there's always a reason to NEED the '2 :D

Roll on good weather, or at least good enough to go the the Milton Keynes meet around xmas time.

I booked my MR2 in for storage as I foresaw a bad winter and didn't want it sitting out in the street. It snowed a week before I booked it in so I had to cancel the storage booking. I re-booked it but the snow thawed and it all iced up again just before I re-booked it a second time!!! So I'm fuming now -the cars sat for 2 months with snow on it. I did try to get it tucked away inside for winter but never worked out.

The snow's almost gone again now -think It's due a run!!! No point in trying to put it away now.

another victory for the mr2
