This game is a pita tonight as it keeps hanging in the gt symbol in between screen navigation! Randomluy does it and it's bloody annoying!

After a bit more playage, have to say I really am liking GT5.

Earlier in the week got a 670-4 SV Super. Mark got behind the wheel last night. He felt the car was a bit 'heavy'. Very interesting I thought that you could build an idea for a feel of the car. The car in question was a bit heavy and this did make itself felt well under braking and during direction changes.

So in summary, pretty impressed with it. Yes the menus aren't well thought out and annoying. But the actual racing has been very good fun. Have now done most of the Pro series, just got to do the championship. I do feel that the game is showing it's depth in respect of dynamics as I progress further.

Also got a 458 Italia last night. RAWR. Do absolutely love trying all the different cars. Much more nimble than the Lambo as one might expect, but you couldn't really take the pee with it.

Bought an orange GT-S finally, anyone want to swap the purple G/T/Limited-S hybrid?

I've modded the '05 GT40 upto 800+bhp and it's a handful spent hours entering it into the GT All Stars event and the other entrants (and common sense) tell me it doesn't have enough grunt capable of winning (managed 4th a few times though) but had fun trying.

I have almost completed the Special Rally events with gold for each one ive done so far. Im on the Advanced one now and just have 1 to do.

Easy monies there.. 197k for a gold in each of the advanced races. The snow ones are a complete joke as i end up winning each stage by up to 30 seconds at a time. I won the whole thing by 2 minutes! lol

Also have got gold on all but one of the Nascar advanced events too.

Did the super license last night and it's the easiest in the game golded 7 of them on 1st attempt, quite dissapointing but probably doesn't help that you know the tracks so well from previous games.

Also the horn doesn't echo in tunnels, disgraceful

I was going to comment on that too. like you i got about 6 golds on first attempt which was a surprise and a bit poor!

Also i have now got 2 MR2 NA's if anyone is still looking for one let me know.

how are you guys listening to this game? I have a dolby and dts surround system outputing my audio and the environmental sound is really quite impressive, when you are in the car vs out the sound feels apropriate, but i havent played with the horn yet, im far too busy changing gears to honk!

haha.. ive got a very nice yellow 458 Itaila which you can borrow once im done with it on a Bspec Ferrari race.. think i need to up the power a bit as cant get past 3rd place at the mo!

BTW... you got a fast gallardo i can use?
