I have 2 of one and one of the other?

Any one have any idea's why there was 2 different designs?

just curious i suppose,

also which ones are the most valuable?

and mine will be up for sale if i ever find the camera cable as the iphone pics are crap tbh

no idea just sold a set for £20 delivered yesterday, to me they are just mats (around 2kgs worth of rubbish)

I think the carpet is different to match the changes in interior cloth patterns between rev1/2 and rev3+ (the pattern used on doorcards & cloth seats).

I might be wrong though.

In my Rev 4 I've got a thick carpet version of the mat. (Uk spec)
In my Rev 3 I have got a thin carpet version of the mats (Jap import)

i have the deep pile ones with kinda vertical stripes

would make sense to match the interior trim

jason my thoughts exactly, mind the carpets came out soon after and was replaced with grip tape

like the stuff they put on skate boards as wet shoes and painted metal floors dont mix well

if you look in my blog thing there is a pic of it fitted in my mr2 i have contact that can sell you some roughly the right size and you just place a car mat round it then cut it and stick it in the footwell 100% perfect fit
