[Mk2] [Turbo] Interior Light/Door Shut Sensor

On the way home tonight the intrior light came on and the light on the dash lit to show a door was open. I stopped and checked nothing was amiss but couldn't get it to go out? When i got home i checked all the obvious things pressed the switches a few times incase they were stuck. I've done a search and someone said it was a comman issue but couldn't seem to find much more on it.

I went to check the fuses etc, and after popping the bonnent I shut the drivers door and it went out! So im guessing my issue is that side. So is it just new swich/sensor?

Check a bulb hasn't blown on one of your red door lights.

When I had the door card off the other day I forgot to plug in one of the door lights and because the ciruit wasn't completed then the other door light and interior light were on permanently. Worth a try.

Nah both the door lights were on??
