Took a risk with a car buy it now on ebay. Only £240 but with 12 months ticket couldn't complain. Seller had good feedback and seemed genuine on phone.

Got a coach/trains all the way down to Macclesfield from Elgin. Arrived in the station at night where the seller met me and took me to the car that was in a Tesco car park.

Sorted the paperwork, jumped in and drove it back the 400miles home without looking at anything.
Never missed a beat and served me fantastically for 40,000 pretty much hassle free miles. It saved me £1000's on fuel compared to using the MR2.

It used a clutch, pads and a throttle cable in that time and i flogged it for £160 as a perfectly usable car. Wish i hadn't sold it to be honest.
