its' wiring differences between the 2.

look at the 2 looms and you'll see the differences. purple and brown wire splits off on the na loom just after it comes into the cabin. Fog light is one wire that needs cutting int eh foot well, and do a diagnostics on the abs, will be a rear sensor

Oil level warning is because UK N/A's had a level sensor in the sump and JDM turbos do not. I think you can just bridge the plug on the loom to turn the light off. If that works remove the plug and solder the two wires together.

I've just had this conversion done, it's the differences in the looms which I have worked out some and the others done by the engine builder:-
1) Trace speedo wiring, and swap pins where necessary.
2) There is no ign power feed to the abs ecu - loom differences - trace and swap pins
3) JDM loom has no wiring for rear fogs, but has extra earths, which causes the brake light circuit in the front uk loom to earth thru the brake light system. Needs a wire snipping on the JDM loom, or alternately put a wire thru the car so you can re-enable the rear fogs from the std Toyota switch.
4) Probably no oil level switch plug on the rear JDM loom. Ironically my low oil light is intermittent, not sure what's causing tha since I dont have an oil level switch!!

i looked at multi plug just behind the passenger seat. there are i think 4 wires on the chassis side which are blue, purple, brown and red and on the loom going in to the engine bay they were blue, red, brown and white which where all in the wrong order so iv swapped the pins round and found the purple wire going down to the footwell and matched it up and have just left the white wire out but it has made no difference speedo and warning lights are still on. has anyone got a picture or diagram of the wires that are ment to be changed so i can check to see if iv done it right.
