ps move

Post by H3RB »

got this the other day £29 off of shopto.net (cheapest ive found so far other then tesco and asda that never havr them in stock)
its pretty fun, and really damn accurate! so far we only have
sports champions (great fun)
racket sports (basically wii sports)
start the party (fun as hell but reminds me of the eyetoy from the ps2)
heavy rain (not tried move yet tho)
and eye pet ( step daughter loves it any way)

i thought it was just light but its magnetic or ateast it says so in the calibration.
i hid the controller behind the sofa and played the sword fighting on sports champions and it worked perfect so was quite suprised.
i can see it being more fun then the wii simply because the ps3 (unlike the wii) hasnt been built around the whole wave your arms about jibberish.
arms were aching after 10 mins of archery and i play drums for 3 hours a day with no problem
anybody else got it? what you think of it

It's a gimmick, just like the forthcoming xbox kinect.

It's not as accurate as the Wii Remote for moving a cursor around on screen, but it does have extra stuff in to help with tracking it.

I really should say it's great and it's the future and everyone go and buy one, as at the moment my job depends on it

Its not as accurate as the wii remote?

Looks like move and kinect destroy anything the wii has to offer in all the vids ive seen.

I did say "not as accurate as the Wii Remote for moving a cursor around".
The Wii Remote has a camera in the controller, it knows exactly where it's pointing.
This doesn't. There's no way it can be 100% accurate with the hardware it has.

Don't get me wrong though, overall it's better than the Wii Remote.

You cant beat a proper control pad or mouse and keyboard really though can you. I hope all this Wii tennis and boxing and bowling games die off soon along with the lame adverts and now PS3 ripping off what was a rubbish idea in the first place anyway.

This stuff should soon be collecting dust in lofts along with VR headsets, racing steering wheels, `glove` controllers, dance mats and 3D specs...
