You need an M18 -4AN adapter from Think Auto.

Its the one on the left of this pic:

Digging up an old thread, but do the adapters need gaskets?

Would have thought some PTFE tape around the threads would do the trick, thats what i do on my oil connections etc and have no leaks :thumleft:

Note It is thread sealant, not lock and seal :)

Just spoken to Think Auto and they say they haven't got anything that goes from M28.

Are you sure this is right?

MMA2-12-16
-12JIC x M28x1.5- aluminium
£10.54 (Excluding VAT at 17.5%)

Do a search on Thinkauto site for M28. :thumleft:

They didn't know much about it when I ordered it either

They should be able to sort it. If not, try Earls.

I tried Earls first but they don't have either adapter (-4AN to M18 or -10AN to M28). The guy there pointed me to Think Auto, so fingers crossed they can get that part.

When I transferred the cash, I saw a screen I don't normally see, but didn't read it (click happy). I think it was saying something about the funds not clearing straight away.

Anyway, glad you have it (as glad as I ever am when parting with my hard earned...) . :thumleft:

Well you've helped me clear the final big part from my car so you can be happy in that knowledge at least lol.

I don't think you'll find a M28 -10AN adapter, the Thinkauto one is -12AN.

That was indeed a 12AN one. They also sell 12JIC to 10JIC converters :)

Not ideal, but I guess I should've ordered -12AN oil return pipe.

Oh well.

Cheers, I've got a 14" -10AN hose and have just ordered the -12JIC to M28 and the -12Jic to -10Jic adapter so don't need any of those ta.

If you have a shorter piece of -4AN, that'd be handy, I have some, but it is 3 foot long  A little too long for the oil feed......

just get a dremmel on it and make it shorter. I've got some -4 coming for a remote oil pressure sensor, but not sure how much of it I'll need yet. What sort of length are you after?

I know I've got an oil feed line already made up with head shield and the works that I never used. Just need to find it out really. Will have a look for that tonight too. Its about 16-18" long IIRC.
