Yes indeed - a complete break from the norm on here. After a look at MR2 V6 options I wondered whether I might be better of part exing the 318ci for a 330ci. The first I looked at was actually a 330cd. Truly epic car for everyday use.
It has something like 208bhp but the real fun is with the torque, which it has oodles of. It's not the most rapid off the line against hot hatches, but where they start to run out of puff, this carries on like a steam train. It, like most BMWs, handles beautifully, almost never runs out of grip. A true pleasure on the B roads. Love it!
It's fitted out with light beige leather, memory seats and a load of other kit that these come with. M Sport, which means a bodykit, lowered suspension and other frills. All this, and 40mpg easy peasy. I highly recommend for the ageing MR2 owner...

Re: BMW 330cd
Looks very smart, must admit I have been really pleased with my BMW! Though I don't quite get 40mpg!
Re: BMW 330cd
40 mpg from a 330? I don't get close to that in my 318!!
Re: BMW 330cd

Re: BMW 330cd
Yes indeed, a diesel. I was impressed as well, as the 318 I had before was more 34mpg average. Of course, the figure does decrease a fair bit if I get dramatic on the loud pedal
Re: BMW 330cd
They've got a nice bit of poke the 330d. I had one before and wanted another, but budget didn't allow it
