vacuum hose caps

hi, just a general question, i need a few of those little ruer caps to cap off vacuum hose connectors, but can't seem to find them anywhere except american website?? have they got a special name or something weird?

hose people use a bolt and a clamp

nothing fancy

depend what you try to cap off

What size hoses have you got. I used a rubber walking stick end / ferrule to blank off a perished cap on my inlet manifold on the Aristo the other week. Cost me 50p compared to a tuner end cap for £5.

doesnt fully block off the hole using a bolt as the air travels down and around the thread (When I looked for leaks I found air leaking out of hoses that were blocked off like that, looked like it was sealed but it wasnt)

you using the wrong bolt :mrgreen:

go for the one is not fully treaded
