[Mk2] [Turbo] Ticking then stops ?

Hi there , was wondering if anyone could help me as i havent a clue lol. ok so when i start my rev2 tubby theres a ticking noise coming from drivers side of engine when i accelerate for 1st 5mins of driving then disappeares any1 have any ideas ?

Exhaust gasket maybe. :-k

That'd be my guess too, or loose exhaust manifold studs.

+1 for loose exhaust components. I got this from a blown turbo gasket.
IMOC-UK - the only club to win 'Best Club Stand' at JAE more than once, and twice in a row!

:( gone from bad to worse ](*,) wile car was off road to sort out the ticking i fitted new SMIC and now when i start the car all is fine, then i go for drive and as soon as my boost gauge get to 0psi its very badly shuddering like kangaroo petrol :oops: omg just my luck.
can enyone help im realy stressing out with my car and realy feel like breaking it :cry:

Sounds like intake blockage?

\:D/ found the problem with boost it was an air leak now for the ticking

one or more of the valve shims might be getting slightly worn
