[Mk2] [NA] Non Pop Up Headlights

Post by sangyboymr2 »

What company makes/sells the headlights that replace the OE pop up ones. I want some that sit flush and dont pop up as I believe it will reduce drag and aid performance if only slightly, and it will look better too.

I dont think they reduce performance significantly (not at the sort of speed we can go on the crappy roads round here). Did you see the "project quads" thread on here? Those look AWESOME if you wanted flush headlights, you may need some time on your hands to do it though :oldtongue:

For me, getting rid of the pop ups does not look better.. It looks wrong. It`s hardly going to affect performance, and are you goin to be running a qtr mile in the dark? Cant beat the look of the lights down tucked away sleek in the daytime :thumleft: But each to their own =;

have to agree i love the pop ups but do like the quad lights in pop up form, was a guy making them on here made a mould but worked out quite expensive though havent heard anything since, and i think replikit or carbon fibre creations make them dont they one of them does im sure and maybe rob brookes company not sure have a look, also turn up on ebay now and then. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
she's all comming together nicely now after a fair bit of cash spent, not bad for just an n/a now for some body kit i think.
