pre-owned console from game

really itching for a console at the moment and noticed i can get a 360 elite 2nd hand from game for £120, or a 20gb normal console for £100
are these good prices or can you get 2nd hand much cheaper?
is it a big gamble with no warranty 2nd hand consoles?

the new 360 slim is only £140 so for an extra £20 you get a warrenty, no risk of it being banned/modded and less chance of it over heating.

personally i woudlnt buy a second hand 360 because of all the problems but its up to you in the end.

yeah but you can use usb drives now as storage now so that could be a cheaper option

yeah, with the lastest update for the 360 u can format usb drives up to 16 gig or 32 but im sure its 16 and use them for storage for game saves etc

ok, if you dont want the hassle of doing that is the hard drive upgradable at a later date?
also, is there any other advantage with the 250gb model over the 4gb model apart from storage space?

Personally dont understand why they bother with the 4gb model - 4gb HD is worthless and to upgrade to the HD to the bigger unit will cost almost the same as the orginal ticket price!

I have more than 4gb in saves and downloadable content alone on mine - your basically screwed if you want to buy any downloadable content, also dosnt give you much space to saves games to the HDD to play rather than running it off the disc.

Save the game to your hard drive before you play then it's lovely and quiet mate
