Brake replacement

Hey all,

I'm looking to refresh my brake setup - new rear disks/pads and maybe the same at the front. I'm sure I saw somewhere online that did fr/rear disks+ pads for under 200, but can't find it now.

Any recommendations for crake pads would be good - I've seen Carbotech mentioned a few times? Just looking for increased performance, no warm up needed and don't cost an arm+leg

Anyone know the best place to go to replace the stock disks?

discs: I got my OEM style discs from twosrus but I think the UK arm has closed now. I'm sure the affliaites section has suppliers listed but any of the big motor factors will be able to order them for you.

pads: I used std pads as they worked fine from cold and didn't break apart either. Carbotec's are reckoned to be the best pad upgrade as the fast road pad works from cold and is very good when hot. The dust though is appalling and eats your wheels and they squeak when cold / not used hard. However pound for pound straight swap they are supposed to be the best OEM style replacement for performance upgrade.

now, I run different discs all round different fronts but any of the track day guys will pipe up with stock style replacements (they all run 15's so don't change dissc size or calipers )

180 for groved fr+rear disks + EBC pads

Not heard anything about the pads - Yellowstuff seem to have mixed reviews on here. Anyone tried EBC ULTIMAX?

I use mintex standard disc and standard pads.

I just bought the front and rear sets from buypartsby for under £50 inc. VAT and P&P.
