Hoping to get there before 9

RAC route finder thing says 1h 24mins so that means i'll either do it in an hour or i'll get lost and be there about dinner #-o

Just hoping to run into a convoy before i get to Leeds and i'll follow that

Hi James, Don't know of an convoy, Just hoping to bump into one

What time you expect to be hitting the M62? Our meeting point is 1 minute off Junction 20 (M62)

Come off at J20 (A627) and do a right (Oldham) come off at the second exit (Royton/Shaw) and you'll see Elk Mill retail park as your coming up the slip road - You'll see the PC World from the A627

You'll get from Oldham to Elvington in an hour at that time.

Its only about 65 miles and all motorway/dual carriageway.

Dead easy to find, M62, M1 North which turns into A1, A64 towards York and its the exit after the one for the Outlet Village.

Last exit on the roundabout and immediate right. About 2 miles down on the right hand side.

I'd join you for a blast, but my exhaust is blowing so unless I can get it sorted by then I'll have to give it a miss.

I would be happy to join in the convoy.. I know elvington very well, have been there a couple of hundred times with bookatrack. There is a maccy Ds perfectly placed on the A64, which means from thereon in its only about 15mins to Elv.

The McDonalds is on the wrong side of the dual carriageway. There is a Little Chef opposite, though.

The bridge is complete at last though (that one that has been in progress for the last ten years!).. so you can come off, go up and over the bridge to MaccyD's without going back on yourself ten miles (which i had to do everytime i went to elv).

It's only on Sunday mate!

Can everyone who is coming make sure they add their name to the list of the topic in the 'general' section, as we have a stand of up to 30 cars and it would be nice to know what to expect to turn up.
