My new project

Post by glen n »

After piston damage on my first mr2,I got the chance of another on the cheap, the car had stood for a year and had no key,was told it wouldn't start.managed to get it for 800, had some goodies and the bodywork was quite good. Removed the immobiliser, new battery and started first time. I got a border bumper the snorkels and some other bits from my old car and got it on the road. 4weeks later I bumped it!! I fixed the damage, was very little, then decided that I wanted to paint the whole car. I bought the black paint, and at the last min decided I wanted do do something different. So I'm now removing my snorkels, spoiler, and smoothing my rear bumper recess. My house of kolour cobalt candy blue is ordered, and a set of lenso d1rs in White to follow. I'll get some progress pics up

wheels
snorkels
spoiler
blits duel sbc boost controller
chargecooler

all for sale to fund this project.

The border front look sso much better than the vulgar veilside one.

Also have you seen the border thin snorkels? Look way better than the big ones on your car. :thumleft:

the snorkels are off now,it makes a huge difference to the car, gives it its natural lines back. a lack of work has put the car on hold, so just been plodding away on the body work and painting interior bits.
