my mr2 is a second car as well, no need to use NCB with a classic policy :thumleft:

i use my NCB on another car, 300 quid is the price without NCB, look into it, you'll be surprised :thumleft:

Yeah man, there is a thread somewhere with people suggestions etc for insurance, most of us that qualify for classic seem to use that on the mr2, you get agreed value etc:)

Sorry to hijack the thread a little, Sheppy, do the classic car insurers cover modifications?

OP, if your car is a 1992 model it'll be a Rev2. The change from Rev1 to Rev2 came in Dec 1991. As mentioned earlier it left the factory with 158bhp, 0-60 is around 7.6sec, top speed is 137mph.

Yeah, a lot of them cover mods "like for like", they do agreed valve and I also am allowed to drive other cars:) oh, and they can also "store" any no claims bonus I have, although I can't use it with them, they can keep it up to date, if that makes sense :) it's the way forward :)
