Look under the engine cover lid, should be a sticker with the engine type.

sounds like a rev2.

Although items can be changed over. Front splitter/bumper is also a give away. Size of brakes.

Rev1 brakes are smaller than rev2+, also, the splitter wouldn't be on it, sounds like a rev2 mate :)

Can't mind the exact figure but it's between 160 and 180, think the rev3 is 174, they are nowhere near as quick as a 325, or even a 318 I would suspect, a tubby would take one on no problem but not an N/a :)

i no a standard e30 325i is down as able to manage 0 to 60 in 7.4 sec
i thought an mr2 with round about 170 bhp could easily manage that time.

Chassis number is the only way to be sure to be sure. Theres a thread somewhere that gives chassis numbers and rev's.

158hp from new for a rev1/2 with a 3sge engine, 3sfe has 119hp. If you look for pics on here you will see what type engine you have.

If your engine is running badly or in need of a service it will be down on power, infact any 20 year old car may not have the factory quoted power figures.
We ALL make mistakes !!! :)

Mr2's are surprisingly slow man, I have a turbo which is quick and my missus has a non turbo, rev3, it's a pig in comparison, my 1.9 diesel punto is faster :) :) get yourself a tubby, will keep up with an M3 no problem :)

was thinking about a turbo.

and dont they only run on super unleaded as well.
