[Mk2] [Turbo] Advise about momo steering wheel boss needed please...

Post by Bone »

I've just got a omp steering wheel but now I need a boss. My car is a rev3 turbo with an air bag. Couple of questions... Will the momo boss cancel my indicators and will the air bag light come on? If so how do I put it out? Cheers.

Been looking at this...

Indicators will cancel OK.
Airbag light will stay on (assuming you are fitting a steering wheel without airbag)

The new wheel has no air bag. Do you know how can I put the light out?

Pretty sure I have read somewhere about this.
Apart from removing the bulb I don't know of any solution off the top of my head!

I wonder if you could use a resister to trick the car, thinking it still has an air bag?

open the fusebox under the front bonnet and pull the fuse labeled ECU-B.

the light will go out.

Is that all that fuse is for? I don't want to disable anything else. :-k
