New person with a red REV5 GT TBAR - PLENTY OF PHOTOS**

Post by Olly_Mr2 »

Hello Everyone, i have signed up to Mr2OC so some people might have seen me starting to post on there!

I bought the car on sunday 1/8/10 from my mate for £1800
His dad has had it in the garage for 2 years and then his son (my mate) bought it and drove it for about 6 months,
In his time of driving it he had the cambelt waterpump done
He has had some servicing and bits done nothing much
A double din Kenwood headunit has been fitted.
The car is 1998 reg
94k on the clock
It has 17" OZ Hydra alloy wheels & a magnex exhaust system K&n air filter
The engine lid has been updated with the raised turbo edtion.

there are a few bits on the car that need touching up like the spoiler the wingmirrow ect... nothing major but the car being a 12 year old red car the paint has gone a little flat so i have it booked in for the 13/08/10 to have the follow

Pass wing mirror sprayed
rust spot (bubbling paint) by drivers wing mirror
spoiler removed and resprayed
alloy wheels refurbed and done in a light colour but not silver still need to decide on that so ideas please **
then to finish of a full detail getting everything perfect once all this has been done it will be showroom condition for a cost of £600

Please see some pictures attached and i hope you all like it, comments more than welcome cheers guys!

fyi, a 'GT' is a turbo model, looks like yours is a 'GTi'

you want a set of staggered jap alloys really to fill the arches better.
other than that, looks good!
