No worries.

.

.

.I have recently been suffering from an air leak as I have described.

.

.Before I discovered where it was I replaced the Throttle position sensor, plugs, leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm, coil

and semi convinced myself that although my AFM test results were ok, it was still intermittently fkd up.

.

.like you my probs were when boosting but the prob was simply a fatigued inter cooler hose that had dozens of tiny cracks running through it, not even visable untill I took it off and gave it a propper bending and squeezing, you can imagine it ballonig out under pressure and all those tiny gaps opening up.

.

.rev 2 are very intollerant of air leaks as it messes up the air intake info sent to the ecu from the AFM, thus overfuelling causing misfiring and bogging down.

.

.pound to a penny it's a simple but obv frustrating prob.

I have also read in recent months that there seem to be quite a few damaged coil probs so that would be worth having a butchers at that also.

.

.another typical running prob for rev 2 is the water temp sensor being knackered, it's the green one

(the lower of the 2) on the front side of your water elbow.

.

.above it is the cold start timer switch but this only works for around 20 seconds to help out when it's cold.

.

.both are easily damaged.

.

.if you have a sandwich plate fitted for oil pressure

/ temp guages they can leak quite badly on rev 2 as they're just to near the downpipe and can't handle the heat.

Stick with it man.

.

.sell it when it's fixed
