how do i increase my tickover speed

Post by rico1979 »

i have not long got my car back from rogue, having HG done and numerous other works inc new dizzy etc, but when in use i keep stalling ( not my driving promise :laughing ) i have to use my handbrake to slow for lights etc so i can keep my foot on the gas so as not to keep stalling it, it ticks over at about 500 rpm

my motorbike has a simple dial to twist, but my MR2 idle speed has never budged a smidge in 5 years

So rather than start adjusting things, I'd be looking for a vacumn hose or sensor plug left loose or split.
