Evening all

this car is still for sale.

On request, I've put some further photos below.

As you can see, there has been some rust develop down here, which I didn't see from above.

More pictures of the rust, whic is showing through to the outside. Bit annoyed about this actually - I should have caught it earlier. It's obviously due to the water being held by the rubber seal (which is wet)

Driver's cubby hole: no rust that I can see

Passenger cubby hole: again, I can't see any rust here

Rear disc: I have not replaced these. I will try and measure them, but they don't feel that worn (but have rusted on the non swept area)

Let me know if you want more information about the car.

Evening all,

I've had a few more questions:

turbo blades: no damage that I can see to these - pics below.

detonation: this happened before I rebuilt the engine, and hasn't happened since. As soon as I got my car I realised it was smoking heavily, but decided it was still cheaper (and fun?) to rebuild it than argue for my cash back.

t-bar seals: generally good, unless heavy rain and wind. Door mats not wet, apart from one time I left window open. It will be the seat edges and your knee that get the drips.

clutch: the RPS clutch has a spung hub, but is 6 sided, a bit like a mutant star fish, rather than a circle.

rust: can't see anymore around the windscreen seal, or under the windscreen looking through the scuttle cover, but don't really want to remove this as it looks like it will snap. The door rust may well have come from the window, and collected inside the door. I've kept the drain holes clear, and don't think I've ever shut the door using the window.

I can't realistically get photos of the underneath of the car. The under-seal is in tact, but brakets and the like will probably have picked up rust.

gearbox: it's the E153, and the car has an LSD. I reckon they're easier to source in the UK. I would go to www.rogue personally.

radiator: a bit tatty, typical for age of car. No big stone damage, as I'd fitted a grill, but some fins are bent (pic below). the top was rusty, but I painted it a few years ago.

I also took the chance to do a compression check: pics below too
cylinder 1 - 10 bar
cylinder 2 - 9.2 bar
cylinder 3 - 10 bar
cylinder 4 - 9.8 bar
