engine won't fire up???

Hi guys.
I've just changed my HFH and it all went pretty well (although my hands look like i've been playing with barbed-wire)
However, i started the engine and it stalled after about 10seconds, this happened about 5times and now it won't start at all.
The starter motor turns over fine but the engine won't fire up. The fuel pump is working as you can hear it buzzing away.
Anyone got any clue as to what i can do or try?

Turns out what I thought was the fuel pump is the power steering pump.

Come on guys someone must have some idea?
Please I NEED to get it back on the road as it's my daily drive?

Whats a HFH ??

Check all your intake hoses are connected up correctly, no openings.... These engine managements on the rev 2's rely on the air flow meter to calc fuel, if you have a break in the induction system, your engine will experience the symptoms youre having.

HFH hose from hell I think ?? if the car was fine before this then there must be something left unplugged or loose you need to go over every thing you have had off, have you done a code check it may point you in the right direction

Yes HFH is hose from hell. I did put all my intercooler pipes back together correctly and didn't leave anything unplugged, but somehow (and not sure how) I managed to damage my MAFS whilst I was sorting out my HFH. So I've got one which should be getti g delivered today
