make me an offer on this nearly complete project

Post by cantfindausername »

This is for real this time.

I want to sell my car. A trailer will be required as it has no MOT.

The car has a lot of potential, but needs some bugs working out before it will deliver what it is fully capable of. The engine is strong and has seen 2.1bar boost and over 9kRPM during tuning. It's currently set to run 1.6bar although this was with a blown manifold. This has just been replaced and is no longer blowing.

The car was previously dyno'd at 456bhp, but has since been remapped and I no longer know what the power is. 0.4bar more boost should see a good increase though.

I drove the car this morning and it is stupidly rapid and builds boost like you wouldn't believe, however for some reason now it wont rev lower than 3.5kRPM. I'm sure its probaly just a map tweak that it needs but I don't have the time or enthusiasm for it, and I refuse to put any more money into it. I've kept a spreadsheet of costs since I started it and to date I've pumped £34,643 into this project.

I know people don't like buying completed project cars, so buy one that's nearly there that you can put your own final touches to. All the hard work and finacial outlay has been done, just finish it off.

I'm open to sensible offers on this so please let me know what you think its worth and to arrange viewing.

I would also supply a copy of all digital imagery of the project for reference.

A couple of pics to hopefully tempt someone.

Thanks,
Ant

I love the way the car is so standard on the outside with all that power!

Its a tough choice, but no point having something I never get to use. It has been one thing after another. Small little niggles that just shouldn't happen. If I can solve the problem cheap enough (hopefully just need an adapter to make it good) then I'll be holding on to it. Hopefully get some proper use out of it. If not, then I'll more likely than not break it.
