Hi Carolyn,

Welcome to the club. Bens site http://www.btinternet.com/~netsurf/mr2t/mr2tfaq.html is always worth a look at. It was one of my first points of reference when buying my 2. Jinxy "Tony Jinxy Froude" and Lauren would be worth having a chat to as they both have Mk1's and are always on here.

try the MK1 club site also, plenty of good condition cars for sale on there come up quite often.
you'll be paying around £2-3k for a minter mind.

i always forget the url for the MK1 site but sure someone can link it for me :)

Hey Carolyn,

Good luck finding a good one. If you find one that isn't rusty, and with their age it's fairly easy to tell if they've been cared for, go for it! It took me a couple of months before I found mine, eeek that was about 4 years ago, still love it!

hmmmn I notice there's a MR2 SC Super Edition on the mk1 site for sale. dark blue, T-tops, and should have Recaro seats as it's an SE. An SC super edition is enough to make any mk1 owner drool with delight!

Shout if you need any advice about what to look for when you go see one.
