Ps when i did the diagnosis i followed the instructions but couldn't get the dash lights to flash a code, they just stayed off as normal.

Little bit of progress, did the diagnostic and came up with fault code 35 - Open circuit in front left or rear right wheel speed sensor.
I assume that means the sensor is ok and maybe a loose connection somewhere??

Yes wiring, but It could mean the sensor is open circuit too.

Check the resistance of the sensor and continuity of wiring through to the sensor. :thumleft:

Did you clear the codes first as it may be a stored error code from before.

Still no further forward with this :?

Basically with the old sensor (which was working before i changed the hub) the abs light comes on so the abs is de-activated.
With the new sensor, the abs light doesn't come on but i get the abs activating itself when i'm pulling up to park.

Can anyone advise on what to try next?

Unfortunatly it looks like both sensors are faulty.

I would suggest trying a known good 2nd and sensor, if you can fine.

Other than that it would be a new one.

Quite hard to get hold of 2nd hand ones eh, and reluctant to buy a new one as I thought surely one of the 2 i have must be ok.
