Identify Rev type

Hi All,
I've had my MkII Mr2 for 2 years now and love it. Its a 1992 GT 158BHP UK spec version. My ignorant question is what is the Rev (Rev = revision?) type and how do I identify mine?

Also are there any posts on how to change the foglight bulbs as my screws are corroded and I cannot revmove the lenses to change the bulbs. Many thanks.

rev 1 = 1990 > 1991
rev 2 = 1991 > 1994
rev 3 = 1994+

These are from rough memory so they may be wrong.

Also from memory, the rev 1's come with 14" wheels and smaller brake discs + no ABS. Rev 2 have 15" wheels, larger discs and ABS. Rev 3 have different styled rear lights and panels.

I'm no where near being an expert so hopefully someone else can comment on this?

I'd say you'rs is a rev 2.

I'd say you'rs is a rev 2.

rev2s started in 1992, or very very late 91, the rev1s did in fact start from late 89 and im sure went onto late 91, hense, rev2s in 92 to late 93!

do you have a pic of your car mate?
well its deffo going to be either a rev 1 or rev 2 but giveaway visual differences without looking in the engine bay are -
1 - as metioned 14" wheels on rev1, 15" on rev 2 (+bigger brakes)
2 - rev 1 has black side strips, rev 2 has black with tint of bodycolour
3 - rev1 has smaller matt black lip spoiler, rev2 has gloss black larger lip spoiler
4 - if front fogs are fitted some rev1's had them tinted yellow
