[Mk2] [NA] Auto Gear Selector Dash Light Bulb(s)....

Post by DTMr2 »

Hello,
Calling all AUTOMATIC Mk2 owners....

I need to change the 'P' light bulb in the instrument dash.
Where do I get the bulb other than Toyota stealer???

I think the 'P' light would be a red bulb....

Many thanks,
Troy.

ebay.

Not sure on size you'd need though, I guess they would be smaller than the normal ones.

If your taking it apart then you may as well just get one out, go to local motor shop and ask for a few and replace them all.

i bet toyoyoyoyta wouldn't be as expensive as you think. Ring and ask for parts desk.

Most of the dash parts are about £1.60 except teh whole unit which is about £124

Thanks again Mr2_NA
Thought I'd get the right/correct bulbs before I take instrument dash out :-k

I bought 2 'anti-squeal springs' earlier today at £7.49 + VAT EACH
I need the 4 retaining clips as well, which are about another £15 + VAT
These are for the rear brake pads on one side.Unbelievable

Really?

The parts seem cheaper over here from Toyota! I buy that much I think they give me a discount.

Most car shops should have the basic parts in anyway.

Those particular brake parts are epically expensive, the pad fitting kit (which includes all these springs and clips) is more expensive than the pads themselves!

The bulbs are the same as all the other smaller bulbs in the dash, and it's not a red bulb as far as I remember. Dunno if that helps lol

Thinking about it I've got a set of rear brake clips here, if they're any use.
