I'm planning on buying an mr2 in the near future and wanting to work on it myself.

Same with axle stands, or would

Thanks very much.

No nonsense, solid jack that will last for years and years..
.it will go under my sills and under the exhaust to reach the rear subframe.
My car has been slightly lowered as well.
I wouldn't be without it

Doesn't go under the lip on the front bumper though so I just drive the car up onto a couple of bricks

)- all well within it's capacity.
It's also wider and so a bit more stable- always a good thing imo.
I always use axle stands, but often I'll use the jack at the same time as well as extra security.
It's also got a really smooth release- which is ideal for lowering/ aligning engines, gearboxes, etc.
It's a good all round garage tool- highly recommended, and well worth the slightly higher cost if you want something that will last you
