JAE S.E. Convoy from Thurrock Services on SAT a.m.

Hi all,

I know a few of us are unfortunate enough to have to work on Friday 22nd and so are planning to go up to JAE on the Saturday (some just for the day - others like myself to camp over for that eveing and return home sometime Sunday).

With this in mind I'm organising a convoy upto JAE early on Saturday.
Planning to arrive there earliyish to beat the queues for entry.
Gates open on Saturday morning at 7:30am

so.. stick your name down !!!

Convoy attendies for Saturday 23rd July
Meet at Thurrock services at around 6:15am to aim to leave around 6:30am (it takes 1hr 40mins at legal speeds )

gives us time to beat the rush / queues and also time to clean our cars after we arrive (I just hope it's dry or sunny [-o< )

I would say I'd join you early but there's no way I'll get my missus out of bed to go to a 'car show' at that time

I've started a thread over on the oc as I'm having to travel up on sat too, but we're planning on meeting at South Mimms (junction of M25 & A1 M) at 9am. If you change your mind about going so early you'd be very welcome to join up with us there - there aren't many of us so extra numbers would help a lot !!

Still expecting to arrive around 10.30 and should be fine for getting on the stand etc - plus gives all those hung over folk from friday night a chance to wake up before we arrive!

i put my name down AGES ago on that other JAE thread.
is there any conformation of places, areas etc?

Still not picked my car up went to collect it on Saturday only for the rad to let go as they started her up

Had to come all the way home again (carless )

When you get to the showground head for the IMOC stand - we will have people on it all day both days to direct you .... well unless its like 6pm or something that is
