my V6 - new seats/steering wheel now on/in

Post by jasongtr »

thought id post a little thread up on the car i bought a few months back, i origionally posted in this part last july when i bought my rev3 black NA which i planned to do a v6 conversion, some months on and i end up buying one already converted.

Its a rev1 UK NA donor car, the person i bought it off (bought thru this site actually) finished the conversion in Feb2007 and its number 12 on the two brutal conversion list.

He has fitted Eibach springs/KYB inserts/TRD topmounts, s-bits drop links (i have replacements as they need changing again), poly torque mounts (engine is rock solid now) poly arb bushes, private plate, clifford alarm amongst other bits and bobs.

Since i have had it i have fitted the lenso wheels, rev3 lights, swapped the interior over from blue to black (and removed all the stereo), TRD gear knob, sports steering wheel and sports seats, i have rev3 calipers to fit all round , modded side vents (when i can get round to finishing them) a rev3 rear subframe, rev3 rear spoiler/boot (not sure ill change it over now as the rev1 is growing on me.

I havent driven it much at all yet, been busy and away etc... so much so that i havent even cleaned it or put any fuel in it yet!!! its currently sorn off the road until i get the work finished, i thought if i did that it would make me get on and do it rather than driving it all the time and not doing it.

anyway a few pics, ill get some others once its all done and polished up nicely.

as bought

id also like to change the exhaust to release a few more ponies and the full V6 soundtrack, and wen the supercharger kit is fully sorted (woodsport) get one of those
