Now its hot n sunny, you should give it a good clean/wax and take a dozen or so pics.
Also, is it just the manifold thats blowing or is it the flexi?Mine went very early on so I had a proper flexi welded on as the stuff that Mr W used for the first few swops didnt cut the mustard.

You can pick up flexi pipes all sizes quite cheaply, I bought this one the other day, but I think its a wee bit too big for what I need:

I paid
£2000 too
(although mine was running fine) i would hope the mods i have done and plan to do will increase its value as i was told i bought it cheap.
Try not to sell it for any less as they are great cars and well worth it, rev1Tubby performance without the headaches.
That said i wont be selling mine until i get a series1 exige.
Good luck with the sale

You mention Honda.![]()
One thing that is obvious from the seloc club forums is that people go through various models, just as we here go mk1/na/trubbo.
/modded etc etc, and yes I'd like probably a non-Rover variant at some stage.

what elise do you have series 1 or 2, only the early series 2 ofthe newer shape cars can be converted to honda power i believe, but i guess you will have either a series 1 or an early series 2 if you have the rover engine anyway as the later series 2 cars have the toyota engine form the celica(i think) vvti thingy

Like the V6 MR2 I was after a 70%road/30% track car.

Very conscious of the fact that it's one thing risking the 2k V6 on the track, another thing risking 10k+, so even if I could have afforded the S2 I didn't want to.

For now, anyway!

What is a vvti thingy?I know I have a vvc thingy.
