well its been a while since i updated so here goes

car is in its final stages now before paint
all prep work is now complete and around 2 hours ago the car was primed ready for paint either tomorrow or next week who knows lol

managed to get myself a import rear bumper and a set of import plates as thats what i was after really rather than uk

Image

couple of pics of it worse for ware lol

Image

Image
my trd coolant cap :)

Image

interior all removed ready to be flocked was going to go red but decided on black in the end to keep it subtle as i think too much red will look a bit poo

and my clocks which im well happy with

Image

also had my roof lining trimmed in black leather with 2 red stitch lines put in :)

and then realised i needed a black sunroof handle and all the little parts to go with it inc the rubber around the opening and interior light cover

managed to source them all now though so im happy had trouble finding a good set of black sunvisors though so removed them completly and had them trimmed over which is ok as i have a sunstrip

few more pics
Image

border front on
Image

Image

Image

then while the bumpers were off stone guarded all the metal behind them cut off the rear lower grill completly rather than it bent up and also the sills were done before the skirts were fitted after grinding all the surface rust off and stone guarding they were blown over with gloss black 2k paint

crap pic but you get the idea

Image

and a few pics of the autopista without the sides on

Image
Image
Image

anyway enjoy and hopefully next time it will be in paint :thumleft: :thumleft:

she's all comming together nicely now after a fair bit of cash spent, not bad for just an n/a now for some body kit i think.

still needs a hoover over when the adhesive has dried due to the guy having compressor problems so was only done today while i was there so didnt have time to dry, was a worrying time driving 2 hours home with it in the boot of the car still wet worried that it was going to rub off but it held well and looks cool

when its hoovered and the excess is off will look better :)

very nice indeed the plate hmmm some people are very suspicious on 666 i think it looks cool with the trd as the last 3 prefix's really looking good, ive just treated mine to a toms scoop havent bought anything for my 2 in months lost out on a set of rev 3 lights so bought a scoop instead which ive been trying to get for years but hopefully i might pick up on the modding with mine now, im looking at a greddy lip and maybe some skirts. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

i think i will concentrate on getting my rev 3 lights next got bored with the standard rev 2 lights now, so gutted i missed out by £2 on them and then look out for a drivers side scoop i do like things to match, it cost me £65 for the scoop which had already been fitted so hopefully doesnt require modification to fit and is painted black aswell.

cant wait to see yours finished now matey. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
