History:

Dizzy cap

& Rotor changed by GTSChris in September 2008.

Engine replacement by GTSChris in August 2009.

New clutch fitted by GTSChris in August 2009.

NGK Cold Grade High Performance spark plugs fitted by GTSChris in September 2009.

Another new engine fitted by GTSChris in March 2010 after some terrible luck and a faulty timing belt letting go.

Brand new Cambelt fitted by GTSChris in March 2010 when the engine was replaced and all the newest parts mentioned above transferred across.

As detailed above, all the major mechanical work which this car has needed has been carried out by GTSChris during my ownership including the most recent service.

Chris is not only a sound lad but he is widely respected in the MR2 community and considered one of the best MR2 specialists in the country.

For the second engine replacement mentioned above, Chris not only shouldered most of the cost but also helped me out a lot to get the car turned around in a matter of weeks.

This was despite the fact the engine failure was not his fault but, as it wasnt my fault either, he felt a responsibility to help me out which was greatly appreciated.

Chris only uses genuine Toyota parts and recommended fluids so the car is in top condition.

No leaks, no smoking, no oil or coolant loss.

Engine returned 35+ mpg on a recent run to Manchester and I regularly see 24 mpg for my commute to work

(a mixture of quick roads and stop start city driving).
Bad Points:

The stereo isnt the best and could really do with replacing.

Minor blemish/grey spot on the rear bumper when looked at closely.

Following the engine replacement the A/C system was bled so this needs to be re-gassed.

I will be doing this myself when I get time or at the very least before the car is sold.

*
EDIT
A/C Re-gassed and cleansed, now colder than ever plus clean and fresh smelling*

*
EDIT

- minor scuffs on the front splitter*

*
EDIT

- The usual wear on the drivers seat support but not ripped or torn

- see pics*

*
EDIT

- Minor curb damage on the alloys*
Ramblings:

I think this really is a lovely example, good clean condition inside and out, car working well and feels solid all round.

GTSChris commented the condition of the car underneath is superb when he carried out the engine builds.

I have looked after this car and loved every minute of it which is why it has been properly maintained during my ownership.

I havent thrashed the car or taken it on any track days.

The car is running standard boost at the minute although I have an MBC ready to fit which I may do before sale but if not I will include the MBC in the price.

The car is ready to drive away and shouldnt require any routine work for some time given the recent service, new parts, new clutch, cambelt change and the fact the tax and MOT arent due until the end of the year/early next year.
Price:

£3,800

*edit*

This includes the Momo GTR alloys pictured on the car and I will throw in the original rev 3 alloys, or I am willing to knock a few hundred quid off and put the original rev 3 alloys back on the car and keep the Momos myself.

Thats all I can think of for now, please feel free to ask any questions.

I will try to get some more pics up of the inside of the car shortly.

Thanks.
